Sitio Paineira Espresso: Powerful, freshly roasted, and unmistakable

If you love espresso with character, you'll appreciate Sitio Paineira Espresso.

Our beans come from a single family farm in Lambari, Minas Gerais, around 1,000 meters above sea level. There, among mineral-rich springs, green hills, and clear waterfalls, they ripen slowly in the mild mountain climate and develop their complex flavors. Each harvest is carefully picked by hand, processed according to sustainable principles, and brought directly to Berlin without any intermediaries.

In Berlin, we roast the beans regularly in small batches in a drum roaster. This ensures consistent freshness and preserves the subtle nuances that make for a world-class espresso.

Flavor & Character

Experience a single-origin espresso that captivates with intense notes of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, and delicate caramel. The gentle roasting process emphasizes the natural sweetness, reduces acidity, and ensures a dense body with a velvety crema. Strong, full-bodied, and pleasantly mild at the same time—an espresso that is delicious both on its own and in a milk-based drink.

Tips for preparation

To ensure that Sitio Paineira Espresso develops its full aroma:

  • Grind size: fine
  • Water temperature: 91–95 °C
  • Methods: espresso machine, moka pot, or automatic coffee machine

The espresso machine produces a dense, velvety espresso with a perfect crema. In a moka pot, it delivers a strong, aromatic result that also harmonizes perfectly with milk – for example in cappuccino, latte, or flat white.

Single Origin from Lambari – The Origin

Lambari is a traditional medicinal spring town in the heart of Minas Gerais, known for its mineral-rich springs and spectacular waterfalls.

The combination of fertile soil, clean mountain water, and a cool climate creates the ideal conditions for our Arabica varieties to ripen slowly and develop their distinctive depth.

Sustainable farming since 2014

We have been running our family farm since 2014 according to clear sustainability principles: careful use of water, preservation of natural vegetation, and careful hand harvesting of every single bean. From cultivation to export, everything remains in family hands—transparent, fair, and uncompromising in quality.

Freshly roasted in small batches

After harvesting, we bring the beans directly to Berlin. There, they are gently roasted in a drum roaster, always in small batches, so that every delivery arrives fresh at your door. Each batch is then tasted, ensuring that you enjoy an espresso that is balanced, aromatic, and pleasantly low in acidity, cup after cup.

Versatile and uncomplicated

Whether you use an espresso machine, a moka pot, or an automatic machine, Sitio Paineira Espresso is versatile and reliable. It impresses on its own with its strong body and, when combined with milk, is the perfect base for cappuccino, flat white, or latte macchiato.
